Agreed, and a decal facade doesn't bother me when it's a larger structure like these new Sprung tents. Yes, they're building a facade next door with Goblin's Feast, but if it stays around the size it is since we last saw photos...it looks pretty small compared to the rest of the tent. That's an issue they came across previously with the parade warehouses, which ended up resorting to the decal facades for the last several years. The new tents are much bigger than the original ones, so they can certainly fit a facade inside just like the warehouses could.

Also, there's the sheer fact the event is opening in few weeks and they probably want the construction to be focused on the big queue for both tents.

Were the numbers for the tents switched then? On the original permit, the left one (Goblins) was Sprung 3, and the right (Monsters) was Sprung 4, yet their respective codenames were for the opposite tent.

Not sure if mentioned previously, but they're building an access pathway to the left of Springfield, so it does appear the tents (at least the original sprungs only) will exit through there.

Out of curiosity, when you mention the access pathway, are you talking about the usual exit which is to the left of the Coke building? Because I noticed something peculiar in this photo Bioreconstruct posted...



To the immediate left of the Simpsons ride and right through the clearing of trees is a beige pathway which looks rather neat and new. I can't help but wonder where that goes, since if it can connect to that backstage path, I think we might have figured out how they're doing the exit for the new tents. The older tents could use the usual exit path, and the new tents could be diverted down that new path which dumps out in the Simpsons ride plaza. (Or they could put all 4 there.)

just think of it as if they are meant to hold 2 houses per tent. I would bet that come next year, the two new tents will hold 4 houses and the two old tents will be gone. I would not expect them to use the entire space in the new tents this year, just half of each tent.

I believe I was told last year that they need to work on the drainage issues where the old tents are.

This year, I would predict more walking than ever and more clusterF's than ever before (just 'cause I feel like they add more exit walking each year).
