Tribute store was fantastic. Possibly the best one yet at this location.

I know Saturday was the first day of the event, but boy were they not prepared. I can completely understand the Mardi Gras booth F&B ops to be hampered by crowds, but other locations like Minion Cafe were quoting hour long waits for food. Doesn't look good for post-Epic ops. (I hope I'm wrong)

I'm giving Universal some time and a pass on the operations. The best and brightest are being moved over to Epic, so there's probably a learning curve for many on the original campus.

100% agreed on the Tribute Store, I think it might be my favorite one so far. The amount of details everywhere you look are insane and it has a ton of references and easter eggs. It's crazy how much they are able to go all out for a temporary store and I still can't believe they are able to pump something out with this level of quality multiple times a year.

Just a heads up if anyone's trying to do the Virtual Line for Mardi Gras float riding: they updated the system this year and now if you want to do it with a group, you need to have a travel party set up in the app with each person's ticket/pass linked to just one person's account. Otherwise it will only let you choose yourself as a party of one and everyone will have to try to get their own spot.

Is there a set time when the virtual queue becomes available?

In the app it says spots can open up any time from 2PM thru 1 hour before the parade start time. On Saturday my wife and I each tried and she eventually got a spot around 2:45. We tried to see if there was a way to squeeze me in, but the TMs said only if I'm able to get a spot in the app as well. After all the Ride-and-Dine and passholders check in (right around an hour before the parade), they will announce how many spots are left (if any) and will do one final drop. However, on Saturday they told all of us there weren't any extra spots and weren't going to do an additional drop. We saw another couple in the same situation as us, so we offered them my wife's spot and the TM's let them both check in.

The Currywurst was my fav last year. I think I had it around 4 times over the course of our vacation. It didn't sound like it would be that great, but it was.

Butter chicken and especially the trapizzini were disappointing. The mac n cheese was fantastic though.

Funny seeing two of you saying to skip the Trapizzini. We waited way too long for it and were line sandwiched between two very annoying groups. After eating it my girlfriend turns to me and said "I really was ready to hate this... and and I'm pissed that I loved it." I thought it was pretty good too, but never will wait in Louie's for food again.

Another item we both liked was the Spicy Szechuan Chicken Bites. I actually went back for it twice. The spice will put off a lot of people though, as it lingers in your mouth for a long while.

I liked it, but felt it needed a sauce or cream to pair with the spice.

It wasn't nearly as crowded as T-Pain was the week before. I was expecting it to be a lot worse.

Forgot all about this. Lots of drinking that weekend haha! We got in on 02/01 and I guess they weren't selling much food, so a manager offered to bring us one of everything to try. The bacon blew my mind.
