I know they won't do it but it would be cool if they did an event during Halloween season for Dark Universe. Have it be an after hours thing and make the land more scary and adult. Basically an HHNified Dark Universe lol

I know I am late, but I just finished HTTYD 1 and 2 and omg they are fantastic. If universal does not add an expansion where Im riding on the back of Toothless or some other dragons and rivaling FoP, then they totally missed the mark. Holy cow I want to ride on the back of Tootheless ASAP !!

I'm hoping that for the next type of flying ride someone thinks of something different to Pandora, bttf, soarin etc.

Flight of passage seats on a motion base flying through physical sets... Probably too much to ask for but something that levels it up would be great.

Would love to hear some spoiler free impressions of the monsters ride. I don’t find the character designs all that scary , which I think is somewhat intentional . Really curious how thrilling / scary the actual ride is. Rise of the resistance is a great ride due to size and scope, I wouldn’t necessarily call it thrilling.

HHN crowds are not the same as the average park guests.

Anyone expecting HHN-like scares in Dark Universe is going to be disappointed. That's not what the land is intending to replicate.

I feel one who desires HHN-like scares in Dark Universe, need only go on Monsters Unchained.

Dracula will surely fly at you at some point... There's gonna be some jump scares!

Edit: Come to think of it that whole building will be hugely reminiscent of HHN, except to a much higher standard cos permanent. Relentless jump scares no... But atmosphere and tone of HHN will be present, with a few scares along the way.

Not trying to derail conversation on purpose but Dreamscape (VR), much like Disney's The Void (Marvel and Star Wars VR) and Harry Potter NYC's VR experiences had a HTTYD "Flight Academy" and it was just as awesome as it sounds. Having experienced all of them, i can attest that flying on a broomstick with a wand shooting spells at Death Eaters was JUST AS GOOD as flying on my own hand-picked dragon and launching fireballs at my friends so i can beat them in a race. lol

When the VR broomstick thing went down between WB and UNI getting scrapped from EPIC i was super bummed because I LOVED IT, and when i went to try the HTTYD in CA it basically had me mentally double-down that this tech deserves to be in the parks if it could just be... easier? The load/ride capacity just isn't there on a scale it needs to be to justify but believe me - THIS, THIS was* the immersive flight & ride sim you're looking for.

Could someone explain the hype of the chronos to me? Because, as far as I can tell, every single individual portal looks much nicer than the chronos. Maybe I'm just missing something and it's supposed to be like the IOA lighthouse?

Just different preferences! I think it’s dreadfully ugly and tacky but the scale will no doubt be impressive and the motion is very nice. I get why people are excited to see it.
