Imagine if they used the Fear Factor stage for a Wild Wild Wild West Stunt Show!!!

...I know. Too crazy of an idea.

This area is dramatically under-utilized, and could fit a decent-sized attraction.

I've beaten it to death in this thread and many others - but the Fear Factor/MIB tent area has enough space to comfortably fit a show building roughly the size of Mummy. It's much larger than it appears!

That space is big enough to fit WaterWorld.

It’s easily the biggest available pad in Studios already sitting on guest paths.

I don't think you will be able to die happy until Waterworld replaces Fear Factor Live!

I would accept a James Bond-themed version of WaterWorld.

Or a Matilda dark ride.

Anything, really.

My brain automatically changed it to Dr Evil from Austin Powers...

...which then made me think of the return of B&T at HHN

The only issue with a Bond attraction to me is that he is different with every actor. They can’t just cast a Matt Damon lookalike like they do with Bourne. They’d need to decide whether they want someone like Connery, Craig, or even whoever plays Bond next.

Personally I’d like to see an attraction stylized as the Craig films. The scope of those films feels the most theme park-ey to me. I think a Bond show or even attraction would be a slam dunk.

A stunt show would be incredible, but the issue is that you have another stunt show themed to a spy franchise right across the park. Unless they really focus on water with the Bond one to differentiate.

My ideal outcome would be a dark ride where you drive through a city in an Aston Martin using a test track-esque ride system following Bond on a mission as M16 program recruits. It could be like the scrapped Dick Tracey Crime Fighters ride that was supposed to be at DHS but without the shooting element.

I think Fear Factor is prime-real estate for Bond, as it could either be an extension of London or lean into the spy theme of world expo. It would be the perfect transition between the two areas. My personal vote would be to extend London to make it a multiple IP land. Would feel very old school USF

Since Pokemon replacing Simpsons doesn't seem as firm as it once was, maybe Springfield and MIB+FFL can be lumped together into one big land with a big IP attached to it.

The studios needs another live show + stage venue. The concept of killing off locations that can remove people from ride lines for a good 45mins is a terrible thing. Again, not every guest is a ride person for one reason or another, so shows are very important to guest satisfaction.

As for expanding the NOT-Amity area of the park with an IP.... my vote goes for "An American Werewolf in London".

I actually hope Pokémon doesn’t come to USF. They should stick it in Epic somewhere if it were up to me. I think USF should become the more mature park, sticking with traditional film and TV themes while IOA and Epic become more experimental. Personally, I think future USF additions should center around big, live action blockbusters.

UOR is now a 3-theme park resort. This for the first time gives them the luxury of giving each park a unique ‘mission’ rather than forcing them to be melting pots of whatever they can squeeze in. I truly believe that USF should be the ‘film’ park since it’s the only one that actually has ‘studios’ in its name. IOA should be the adventure park, with slightly more immersive IPs built around thrill. Epic should become the experimental park, where the goal is to transport you to certain settings. This is why I think Pokémon would be best at Epic. Unlike other properties, it doesn’t really have a single consistent story or medium. It’s been a card game, an animated show, video games, movies, etc. The overarching theme is mainly about a world where people live alongside these creatures and can train them for battle rather than a specific, linear plot. To me this makes it a better fit for Epic

I like your thinking on this. Continue to differentiate each park from the other.

Pokémon is weird because it's partly owned by Nintendo but also seen as its own entity. If it were part of Super Nintendo World I think the expansion pad would be too small for it. It could also be argued that using one of the other park's expansion pads might leave Epic with too much Nintendo.

I think most people are familiar with Pokémon movies, TV shows, and games. Technically, that would make it fit for Universal Studios.

Frankly, regardless of how much it fits or not (it does), USF needs Pokemon right now.

It's currently the worlds largest media franchise. The series has worked it's way back to a new peak of relevancy after the initial Poke-mania boom led to a drought in the 2000s and early 2010s. Merch sells incredibly well and it's one of the few S-Tier IP that haven't been tapped into yet for theme park use. Out of all of the Nintendo franchises that could be utilized at the resort, this is the one that will guarantee the biggest influx in attendance. For the health of the greater resort if anything else, I hope Pokemon ends up at the current weakest park.

I know we're antsy for new rumors with how slow development for these kinds of projects go, but I still think Luigi's Mansion for Epic, Zelda for IoA, Pokemon for USF all fit incredibly well. Splitting Nintendo into each of the different parks is an incredibly savvy business decision, just as they did for Potter. Nintendo fans will go see a Mario land and a Pokemon land. Why place both within the same ticket? Epic doesn't need the extra boost just yet imo. Especially not with an IP at the scale of Pokemon. Add more to DK and Mario for now, and that should be more than enough.

One benefit of Pokémon at USF is that it would presumably be set within a city environment.

If designed correctly, it could fit in with the general cityscape look of the rest of the park, rather than the more otherworldly environments found at IOA and Epic.

Yeah - and quite honestly, the idea that USF should be the "mature" park doesn't really work when there's a Minion Land and DreamWorks Land. Epic has arguably the most mature thing they've done in Dark Universe.
