But that was the budget and needless to say it went over it. Pretty crazy to think that Rockit could of end up costing Universal 55-60 million when in turn they completed the FJ for 85-90 million. Sorry I am off topic.

Well it appears BGT got their moneys worth, and it seems as though the new area has the same layout as the old Clydesdale area. Instead of all the tall bushes we know have a Cheetah enclosure and a lot of new concrete.

I wouldn't consider this a complaint, but my only wish would be that they did a little more with the queue. I only say that because Manta raised the bar. It would have been nice to have some extra details in the queue or even some exhibits. I understand it's a remodel, but I was expecting more than a big rock sculpture and cheetah fact signs. The interior parts of Cheetah Run look great. I don't know why some of that didn't come to the queue.

That aside, the entire experience is incredible. The ride has great elements and interactions, and it's just great fun. It doesn't have a gimmick like SheiKra does with the drop. There really is no signature "thing" that it does. Having three launches is great, but I'd just say the ride as a whole is just super fun.

We went yesterday morning. We arrived at the park shortly before 9am and were in the queue around 9:30am. We waited around 2.5 hours (including a 40 minute delay due to technical difficulties). One person in my party is too big to ride FJ but had no problems on CH. I LOVE this ride. Like others have said, it's not scary but it's loads of fun!!

I think it will continue to have longer lines for a while due to the ability of the younger kids being able to ride.

We will probably take advantage of the early admission time for AP on weekends in June.

Video I shot on Opening Day from the Skyride. Just a full ridethrough on the Skyride with some great Cheetah Hunt interaction.

For those curious about lines, it seems like the wait has stayed around the 2 hour mark all day today.

I have a feeling 2 hours will be the norm on holidays and weekends all summer.

We went to BG tonight to ride some coasters. We got into the queue for Cheetah Hunt three minutes before closing time.

Here are some pictures from today

Cheetah Hunt as it's taking off

that was the time we entered the queue. The picture was taken at 9:36. there was only like 15 people behind us so it was neat to see the queue empty out as we move through the line.
The last train of the night left the station around 10:05

The que is massive and Busch put in a number of fans to at least attempt to keep it cooler.

My biggest problem with the que is the amount of noise in there when it's crowded.

I just hate all the switchbacks. We need more queues like Manta and Dueling Dragons where it's more like one long hallway.

UPSET UPSET VERY UPSET...:bang: I went to BG Saturday we stayed all day the first time I went to ride Cheeta Hunt the line was 3hr long, so I stayed and waited. 1hr 1/2 in line and the ride was down. So I left and came back and the wait time was 120mins so I stayed with 30mins left to go the ride went down again so I left. Came back again at 6:20p.m the wait time was then at 90mins which looked like a 3hr wait when you got inside, with 30mins left i was looking through the gate where you can see the ride launch before it go up the high part. The ride launched out really fast and pulled the cart right back in fast like a rubber band. I was in line saying cool, you launch backwards. Realizing that 10mins past with out seing the cart launch back forward. I knew something was wrong, and I was right there was the annoucement saying " Cheeta hunt is having technical difficulties and there will be a delay" . For some reason the beginning launch was not working like it was suppose too.. Luckliy I got out of line because the ride did not open up at 8:45pm. So to make a long story short I DID NOT RIDE CHEETA HUNT. But Sheikra made my day... The drops are awesome.....Even though Cheeta Hunt was the main reason why I went.. Im not going to worry because I go to Universal this weekend, and will be back to ride Cheeta Hunt next month...:sneaky:
