Didn't snap a picture but Seuss by McElligot's Pool got it's red pavement painted. Imagine they'll attack it in sections. You can watch paint wear out quick over there.

^No need for it. In hindsight, real games are better than fake ones that just have signs, but now the Amity ones gone there's an actual reason to make the ones in front of Simpsons real.

I agree. I have LOATHED the midway style games elsewhere in all the parks... but this setup fits like a glove and is completely outrageous in its execution.

Attractions Magazine has posted an article reporting that the midway games in front of the Simpsons Ride are NOW OPEN!

Here's a rundown of the individual games going from left to right. Dunk or Flunk is a basketball-type game that is not actually attached to the ride's queue. Whac-A-Rat is a Whac-A-Mole type game where you hit little Itchies with a mallot and the scoreboards are themed to his tombstones. Mr. Burns' Radioactive Rings is a ring toss game. Eye Carumba! is another basketball-type game. Help Santa’s Little Helper is a water gun game where you shoot to make the corresponding dog move across the game. Sideshow You is a game where you pop balloons with little bean bags. Wild and Willie is a game where you throw balls at cutouts of Willie. Thar She Throws has you throw balls into plastic bins. Lastly, at Strike 3, you launch a ball out of a wooden bat-themed cannon in hopes of knocking over a stack of Duff Beer cans.

Simpsons games of skill now open at Universal Studios Florida​

Brand new carnival/midway games of skill opened today just outside The Simpsons Ride at Universal Studios Florida. The games are not only themed to The Simpsons, but almost all of the prizes that can be won are Simpsons-related.

Universal Studios’ games used to be located in the Amity area of the park before it was closed to make way for a new attraction. They were then temporarily moved near the Fear Factor theater, and have now opened as part of The Simpsons Ride.

Guests can test their skills at these games:
• Help Santa’s Little Helper
• Whac-A-Rat
• Mr. Burns Radioactive Rings
• Sideshow You
• Wild and Willie
• Strike 3
• Eye Carumba!
• Thar She Throws
• Dunk or Flunk

This may sound strange, but this has become my favorite thread on the forum lately. I just can't express how much I enjoy watching Universal improve upon what they already have. At this point, it seems like almost every area of both parks has seen some kind of change.


Oh yeah, and I agree on the Pizzabons. Can't wait to try one!
