Thanks! I have a low light lens (1.8 /f) that helps me get shots of all the dark rides/night time events.

Gotta love the Canon line. I'm wanting to upgrade to a new series within a year or so, my poor camera has seen better days, but still takes amazing shots.

Gave this ride a run through. Never shot it before but had a few winners. Need to get that low light lens next, cause those were some great shots!

Those came out great Frenzy  Its great you are getting these with a lens not really meant for low light shooting. Imagine the shots you get once you get something with a wider aperture

I've gotten all of ONE shot to come out good on GMR, and that was the opening scene neon with my kit lens. I really can't wait until I have the extra funds to pick up that 35mm f/1.8, because the 50 is too close and just a stop or half stop too slow for most of the ride.

The question I keep coming to is do I want a bigger zoom first for construction updates or do I want better night and dark ride shots...

That you will just have to flip a coin for lol. Which one do you think you will use more of? If it was me I would pick the 35 f/1.8 since you already have the kit lens and has some zoom already.Yea is it nice to have a 200mm for the construction but if that's all your using it for I would go the other direction. Really the only one you need zoom for is HP 2.0 and even now you cant really see too much of Gringotts.
