No, not even close. It's pretty much the only ride at Universal I don't like. I'm happy it's most likely going.

Disaster and Earthquake were sort of mixed bags for me. Both have their high points and weak points. Earthquake had a bunch of boring pre-shows but a chilling ride experience. Disaster has more entertaining pre-shows but the ride-portion lacks that same kind of intensity.

Overall, if new Kong proves to just as good as the original Kong, then I believe it will be a change for the better.

Yea...there are much worse attractions at UOR than Disaster. Sindbad, Shrek, and Beetlejuice to name a few.

I mean rides. And for me, Shrek isn't great but way better than Disaster. I've had fun on Shrek before. I've pretty much have never had fun on Disaster before.

I would rather go on Twister 10 times in a row than have to sit through the pre show of Disaster. Even though the Christopher Walken thing looks cool.

Bill Paxton is widely considered as one of the worst actors in Hollywood but he makes great movies. He has a certain charm and attitude that's hard not to like so you overlook his terrible acting. Twister is a perfect example because of his emotions not really lining up with the plot at certain points. Love Bill Paxton!

Bill Paxton is Sam Niell without the skills.

But I have to say that Paxton was very good in Hatfields & McCoys.

"Game over, man. Game over." And let's not forget his awesome performance as the used car salesman in True Lies.

Disaster is loads of fun... if it's your first time riding or you're a part of the filming. If you're just watching it and know what's going to happen... it's boring except for Christopher Walken.

I definitely think Kong will be a better addition and I'm hoping they'll make use of the 3 pre-show rooms now freed up since it'll probably be one continuous line now.
