I do not see Harry Potter involved in any Volcano Bay park rides at all at any time. (Or any character based on an existing IP for that matter.)

Over time I would not be surprised if we see Dreamworks or Illumination characters show up on refillable soda cups or popcorn buckets, and maybe toys, towels, and shirts in the gift shops, but for the most part I expect Volcano Bay to be completely void of existing characters.

I'm thinking more of being bare foot at a urinal. Is it water or pee on the floor? Just typing that makes me shudder.

As with most water parks. I imagine lockers will be provided near the front of the park for a daily fee (and maybe a deposit fee you will get back at end of your rental.)

At most water parks many slides allow (waterproof) cameras, as long as they're small, and preferably strapped to your wrist (GoPro style.) This may vary between rides.

Bags or backpacks are never allowed on slides.

Sunglasses/Glasses are usually allowed on slides.

Lockers should be rented, or cabanas, so that you have a safe place to put your phone, wallet, towels, bags, sunscreen, and any other items you will not be taking with you on rides.

It is most likely that selfie sticks will not be allowed into the park at all.

To carry money or cards with you, even on slides, I'm sure waterproof plastic containers may be allowed on most, if not all, attractions. They may even sell their own in the park:

If you pack light, you may not even need to rent a locker for the day. Some water park visitors are brave enough to leave a bag unattended on a chair near the wave pool while they ride slides, but I would advise against that.

I do not believe there will be lockers near rides, but there may be shoe caddys to hold your swim shoes and flip flops while you ride. Universal will not be responsible for shoes/items stolen from the caddy.

This will not be like the two theme parks. They will not have free lockers at every ride. This is a water park, and it'll be up to you to keep track of your stuff. A locker usually cost like 10 bucks for the day, and that's a good deal for piece of mind.

(I may be spending too much time answering questions today.)

As could I- particularly if the Dry n Tame spot and 4th gate really try to capture the young "MK" family audience.

Oops, my bad... that walkway tarped thingy is on the west side of the volcano... isn't there a tot area on the east side? If so then I guess the tarped walkway attraction must be for older kids.

does the "bracelet" thing hold credit card info? If so, you'd be able to technically walk around without any cash on you.

There hasn't been any information officially released regarding such a feature, but I suppose it is still possible.

While it is technically capable of it, no announcement yet on whether they will or not.

I wrote at length about the capabilities of the Tapu tech here: Technical Details for Volcano Bay’s TapuTapu Wearable Revealed – Orlando ParkStop

Aquatica has a cheap plastic band that you can put money on when you enter the park to use to pay for things all day. I would love for that on my Tapu, so hoping they do do that.

Steps from Aquatica's site: Cashless Wristband | Aquatica Orlando

Step 1: Visit a ticket window or the Information & Reservations Counter to activate a wristband account by linking to a credit card or providing cash.

Step 2: Set Up separate spending limits for each person in your family.

Step 3: Scan at any shop or restaurant to make a purchase.

Step 4: Your account automatically settles at the end of the day.

Quick. Easy. No Fees.

I hope so- thats what I do at Disney's water parks- I never get a locker. I throw a couple towels on a chair and a small cheap bag with some sunscreen and my flip flops in it and then just hold my sunglasses and use my magic band for park entry and rides. In fact- I even do that at Six Flags water parks- because my park pass has my dining plan on it- so I never spend a dime.
Maybe Ive just been lucky- or maybe no one wants some half empty sunscreen spray and crappy shoes and a t-shirt.

I also never bring my cell phone to water parks because I dont care about checking instagram or taking pictures of my family. :D

Wait do people not use lockers at waterparks? I have never been to a waterpark where using a locker wasn't a must... Where do you store your clothes... belongings? Haha. I've never not used a locker at a waterpark. Is that even an option? How do people live!!

As a passholder, if you come to Aquatica later in the day, there's usually a nice lady that works there that will let you put your bag in a lockbox chest on the path in front of the beach to save you having to rent a locker for just a couple hours. I like her. She nice.
