Big Thunder has drops.

I'm not talking drop size just how the majority of the ride is close to the ground with small humps and turns. As well as how themed the ride is.

Interesting about the forest - are we looking at more of a grand tour of outdoor harry potter experience - quidditch, shrieking shake, maze, boat house, forest area, etc all in one ride experience?

A scene with the Ford driving by would actually be pretty neat.

One thing that bugs me about the idea of this attraction being outdoors is light. In the movies/books, literally almost every scene in the Forbidden Forest is in perpetual darkness. And most guests will be experiencing this in the blazing bright Florida sun. That seems so off to me.

Most of the scenes are completely dark because they went into the forest at night.

Taking the maze route would be very interesting - they could retheme the current station into the quidditch stadium - which would fit well with hogsmede, Hogwarts castle and Hagrids hut.

I'm not sure about the inside queue, but the outside looks to be the same as it used to be.

Other than a few extra switchbacks behind Hagrid's Hut where the old metal detectors were, I swear it's all exactly the same leading into the building.

......Yes, the last person on earth living life like it should be lived. :tongue: I can actually enjoy and experience queues and rides without having my face stuck looking at a tiny screen on a tiny phone. ..FREEDOM!!!...and no one can bother me all day, texting and calling constantly. ...Love it.....and more time for drinking. and actually "talking" to friends and others. :thumbsup:

Two things. One, if the ride goes reverse or has a drop track it will need to come to a complete stop even if its for 2 seconds (Mummy/ Th13teen) and two, are we expecting a Harry Potter & The __________ kind of name or will it be something unique ?

I'm actually expecting to have a unique name. Probably "Expedition Forbidden Forest" or Big Thunder Forbidden Forest?!?

I expect a unique name for this attraction to avoid confusion with FJ. Save the "Harry Potter and ____" titles for the marquee attractions, and side ones like Hippogriff, the new coaster and MoM have unique names.

If Harry isn't in it I bet it gets a stand alone name.

Yes, it will need to stop for the reverse bit... Hoping we get a cool show scene during the stop, but luckily it still won't be like Gringotts where every scene is a stop.

I've heard a theory on what might be happening at that track switch stop, and if true, it has me extremely excited. I think someone even mentioned it already today in this thread actually.
