I think its more in regards to the fact that it’s just closing with no apparent replacement in the pipeline (that we know of)

New Poster here. I just wanted to say why is everyone coming so negative about this whole situation. Like shouldn’t be exciting that they are finally taking a “horrible” show out of the lineup. If they Universal is asking for cost cutting measures then management has to comply.

It would be very exciting if Sindbad was being taken out of the lineup... and replaced with something of high quality. Don't just leave the space sitting vacant. It's cheap, tacky, and beneath the standards of a world-class resort.

Welcome to the boards!

Yes I understand it’s tough to stay optimistic about certain things. But hopefully they have a plan to replace it with something to draw more people and keep shareholders happy.

It was by far the best stunt show in IOA

Man, I’m sad. It was the best show in Lost Continent ;)

Pipedream more likely. This will be vacant for 2 years at least. Look at T2.

2 years is about right.

Then it gets flattened.

I imagine a temporary street show will take place in front of the Mystic Fountain

Juggling, sword eating, Bernie Sanders impressions, etc

Love the optimism. But outside of purchasing all that land, I don’t see what would spawn such optimism with the direction Universal has been taking lately. My faith is pretty much shot.
Simply put- it’s a bunch of dinosaurs running the show.

I noticed the Flying Fish Market show closed at USF. Could a version of it be moving there? When did I that stop btw?

Right before Fast and Furious opened. It was only to fill peoples time until the new ride opened.

I think they finally realized what a bottleneck it caused...It could easily be retooled to a Bazaar

As long as they sing "one jump, ahead of the breadline..."

I'll actually say I liked the show. Not going to miss it, wasn't a favorite, but I did it once every visit because I enjoyed the wit.

This. Some wrinkles, but this.

I made this statement privately earlier today: Disney may be heartless, but they find the right person for their leadership positions. Not just the friendliest.

Imo this is it for LC. Probably the first of several closures. Just can’t see them putting a new show right next to the soon to open Pottah coaster.
