They definitely have issues. It took me three days, of numerous attempts, to purchase my tickets online last month. The "Whoops" were running around, wild and unfettered. What a pain.

At least they give you a live webcam feed of the admins trying to fix it...

The land and Smugglers Run will open August 29, Rise of the Resistance will open “later this year”. So it’s a phased opening.

Sounds like Disney is making a smart move. Allowing more time to get the Rise ride right, but also not wasting the fact that the rest of the land will be ready and could be generating income. This should help spread out the crowds better too, so good news for operations. Sort of.

I’m travelling from the UK and we’ve booked 6 September, I’m not fussed for Star Wars so I’m pretty gutted that it’s opening just before we’re there. I’d expected low crowds but not gonna happen.

Now, here's the more important question: Which opens first, MMRR or Galaxy's Edge?

I don't know about that! It seems like they're just asking for a double-whammy of pain instead of ripping off the bandage in one move.

I think they'll get a lot of locals checking it out early, and then wait a little bit before returning when the other ride opens. So, that could help.

Does anyone know for certain if Rise will NOT be open for Orlando initially as well, or only Anaheim? There seems to be some confusion on the internet about that.

Same here. A couple of weeks after you on the 21st, but we were hoping for lower crowds like last time we went in a September. Will probably be a quick trip to HS to do Rock'nRoller and Toy Story Land then get out as fast as possible!
