You are literally straddling the horse and most just have a easily removable strap securing you. You would not want that with water under you unless you have a fully enclosed seat with a full restraint system. Not to mention you are alienating people with ADA issues.

I think people are really hung up comparing this very unique ride to something like the Caro-Seuss-el, gotta expand the mind here y'all.

We can take bets on which one it’ll be, but while I hope it’s a carousel, last I heard it is not. Or at very least, it’s not THE carousel that was initially planned like 3 years ago, but maybe the merry go round thing Joe is speaking about was and is the replacement to the “fancy” carousel from years ago.

I'm doing word play because carousel is getting people locked into horses, gold poles, organ music, etc. This is really different.

is the base of the SeaGlass "Carousel" which looks very similar to the Mac twist 'n shout with the exception of it having additional carriages on the marge platform as well.

Basically this is Universal's attempt at doing something like this that is ALSO more guest accessible.

While I think this looks kind of crap, I can see the potential for something better than the Twist n Splash concept.

If UC really let that slide I'm really disappointed. It not only sounds confusing but just force fed for the sake of extending the Wizzarding World IP. Of course, it's just a rough explanation and I'd have to see how it would be executed but nothing about it sounds all that impressive...

Sounds like -- based on this write-up, anyway -- that the ride might essentially be the park's version of Jurassic World Adventure from Beijing. Which could be fun! Hopefully slightly fewer screen-based moments than that ride.

I'm not sure I believe that plot, though.
