I like the main actor....but the trailer really didn't do much to make me want to see the film

After Morbius I have very little faith. I want them to stop doing these villain based movies and just get to stuff people care more about which is Spider-Gwen, Miles, Silk (she has an Amazon TV show coming up by Lord and Miller), Madame Web, etc.

The funny thing is the Spiderman Video game seems to have an amazing version of Kraven

They should have stolen the idea of him hunting hero's over.....going after his dad which years ago would have been clever but at this point has been done to death

Who is this movie for? Who wants to see a hard-R John Wick rip-off but he wears a furry-collared lion vest (sometimes, maybe) and fights a giant Man-Rhino? I'm a life-long Spidey fan, and a Russel Crowe fan, but I could only laugh at this.

Agreed

The trailer doesn't really show who it's for....but for sure its not for Spiderman fans, lol

It's crazy to me that this is the same Studio making the animation Spider Verse films....

Boy, if you ever want quite the juxtaposition of what part of the studio has an inkling of what they're doing (Animation) and which one doesn't, look no further than AtSV itself and this trailer.

Being a Spider-Man fan, I know who Kraven is. He's not high on my list of villains, but I know who he is. What I don't know is who thought he needed a standalone film, let alone one like this? It's very baffling to say the least.

Why wasn't Venom the R movie!
Venom actually could've been great! If Spider-man was not going to be in it (Or at least not in that universe), they should've gone all-in on the R-rating and make a Jekyll and Hyde-style horror film. That's what I was hoping for. But nah. We got a goofy PG-13 Venom with an awful Eminem song at the end. Oh, Sony. You could've made a stand-out Marvel movie.

I doubt anyone is going to want to watch this after Morbius. At least with Morbius Matt Smith's character was so over-the-top and ridiculous that it gave me something to laugh at (That dance scene LOL!!!) But this looks generic and just....meh. Now that nobody wants to see these Sony-verse villains now you decide to go with an R-rating. Okay.

There is still a way they can redeem this: Before the final fight, he better say "It's Kraven time!"

I really would not mind these movies if they were faithful. If they had more stuff from the universe.
Venom kinda worked. It was ok.
Morbiius felt nothing like what I remember. Villain was weird. Didn't feel like a spiderman universe movie. I love vampires but the villain was too cringe. It was kinda cringe and boring at the same time. I HATE Origin stories. HATE them.
Look at blade in the 90s. Perfect movie. It just starts. It just happens. Blade is just doing his thing. Blade 2, blade 3. He's just blade. No need for origin story. But morbiius is so convoluted.
Let's see how this goes.
