D23 Expo 2017 Dates Announced - D23

As for what I think is going to be "hopefully" the big thing for 2017's D23; has to be HWS. Its now even more important; especially considering that it'll literally be half the theme park that it's supposed to be, and that's not good.

my point being that April 22 is just some random guess from message board guy because its earth Day, its their target date

Right... Disney chose that as a target date because April 22 is Earth Day and AK Birthday. Just like Rivers of Light and others is scheduled for this April 22.

We're less than 3 weeks out from the D23 Expo now and as we draw closer it seems that more and more rumors continue to circulate about what may be announced at the highly anticipated Parks & Resorts Panel.

So let's try to keep all chatter and speculation of potential announcements within this thread :)

Pixar/WDAS Panel - Friday, July 14th, 2:30-4:30p
WDS Live Action Panel - Saturday, July 15th, 10:30a-12:30p
Disney Parks & Resorts Panel, Saturday July 15th, 3:00-4:30p

It's amazing of what potential this year has, Especially for film, Television and the theme parks.

There is so much that can be announced and showcased; it's hilarious.

To go on the Film side, I openly expect the next Thor Ragnarok trailer to premiere at the expo, or at San Diego Comic Con; and that there will be a lot of information for Black Panther; Infinity War; and Ant Man/Wasp.

We know that Last Jedi will have a trailer at the expo launched; and that I am willing to bet that Han Solo will have a slight brief amount of news, and that the next Spin off after Solo will be announced at the expo, and if I was to guess; it's going to be the Obi Wan movie that so many want.

There is then a lot of potential news for TV on animation; not inlcuding the likes of Ducktales, Rebels, and potential future projects that we could see in the future from the groups of Lucasfilm and Marvel Entertainment.

That then leaves the theme parks.
