Well I'm glad the product I saw in late May isn't 'it' but I think they need to continue to enhance so that it can get somewhere close to the levels set by Disney....but pleasing that enhancements are continuing.

The projection looks similar in style and quality to what was used on Cobras Curse. I do like orange lighting and steam effects in the Volcano...that's done well. I don't think the multi coloured lighting is really required...more orange/foreboding Volcano-ness would be better.

I keep seeing "light tracks" at the top of the tubes of Krakatau, has anyone filmed yet on the ride at night with those working (if they do yet) ? Would love to see it..

Those effects are soooo cool. :shades: Now, that's the kind of stuff I was expecting....Almost an unintended consequence of the construction screw up (whatever vendor was responsible, sounds like Nassal though) is that people will have to keep coming back to the park to experience new stuff as it debuts. Just like new weekly park expansions......Almost genius, in a perverse , backward way.:)

Testing last eve with "larger dimensions TMs" on Kala and Tai Nui. As well as another attraction. Possibly Punga Racers? Has that been an issue also?
Yes- the two outside slides at Punga was kids only- no adults- but I don't believe they have a scale at Punga.

Really...?

Anyone ride the Ko Okiri plunge yet? How is that? So excited, never rode a drop slide before glad its over 200...
My friend rode it and he said it was pretty intense. There's jets at the top that push you away from the tube so you're pretty much in a free fall. He also said water gets in every hole on your face lol. I've been told it's more intense than summit plummet so I will not be riding that one

It surpasses Disney's trees and rocks theming of Typhoon Lagoon already for me. There's twice as many details in this park already as Typhoon Lagoon. Seriously, do them both in the same week and you'll see what I mean.
