From what I've heard (and seen *cackles*), the houses are strong. The three original originals all sound like classic HHN stunners. The type of houses that they typically only have one of each year.

The performances are always the unknown. Weak concepts can be elevated by a passionate cast (Havoc 2010). "Obvious" home runs can struggle because of turnover, drama, or just never clicking scare-wise (Roanoke). And there's so little actual rehearsal, no one will know until the second week which has a shot to reach its potential.

EDIT - And Hook... if I'm right that'll be something special.
the three originals...???
what happened to

I have a theory, I can't be the only one that thought about it but!!!!!!

What if the soul counter is a website view counter!!!

and if we reach a good number based off what legacy said "we will get a full release at the end of the timer."

the website backs this idea up with the phase "We demand more from you. Reap the souls of your loved ones before the clock runs out and they can join you in the Elite Soul Collectors, enjoying the same rewards you are now entitled to"

and most likely it'll be a one info a day too make it suspenseful.

like lets say the walking dead {i have no inside info} is released first from the soul collectors it's a gift then the last thing that might be released is the soul collectors influence in park like a scare-zone or house.

I'm 99.9% sure that that's a counter of people that have signed up to have their souls harvested (ie: submitted their e-mail address).

If it were a visit counter, it would be going up a lot faster than it currently is.

I think you're right that those "souls" will unlock exclusive content, but I don't think it has anything to do with what we're set to see in the actual parks.

I think that's just fancy marketing talk for sign up your friends and family for emails so we can sell more stuff.

So does Vampire not sound good since it was late in the game?
I still haven't been told enough about it to have an opinion on its quality. I ACTUALLY think it'll be the last house finished; I'm assuming they just stopped working on it when Conjuring got pulled and moved to finish the next house rather than delay everything. From what I know... it's a house with vampires. *shrug*

Some of my discussions have given it a specific tone, which matches its code name. But nothing firm at all.

EDIT - Screw it. You figured out Hook.

Universal's code name for the vampire house is a villain, a condition, and a group.

Because we're in a dry spell doesn't mean the event won't be fantastic or there's no interest. We know a lot of what is coming, we just had several major theme park announcements, and UOR is gearing up for a huge HHN push.
Obviously it is going to be a fantastic event. This is very true with the announcements and the huge push.
