HHN 27: Bill & Ted's Excellent Halloween Adventure Farewell Tour

I think with how big of a player UOR has gotten to be, I think they honestly see HHN as a bit of an inconvenience now. The event needs to move to the third park once that opens as far as i'm concerned.

couldn't agree more, they be crazy not to plan the new park with hhn in mind

And be purpose built for HHNs.

Yep. Imagine how great HHN can become if a park was actually planned to accommodate it's shows, houses and people traffic flows.
And at that point if they move it, what real incentive do they have to keep the Soundstages around for much longer? They start to look incredibly expendable with how little real estate USF and IOA are working with.

UOR is great at using every last inch of space very efficiently, but eventually they're gonna run out and those soundstages will be history.

Seriously though, I'd think they'd keep a few around just cause. They do get used for stuff on the non-public facing end, but I couldn't tell you how often. But really, what reason do they have to keep them around other than that?

I know they have to be addressing infrastructure when planning this next park, and I would be absolutely flabbergasted if we don't see them create a centralized solution to all the buildings on property that do not 100% have to remain on site.

So, who is going to bring their Avatar sex tails to the final performance and raise them up in a show of solidarity?

Its sad to see these two dudes go, but it is time for something new and fresh. It will be interesting to see if they get replaced by another pop culture comedy show. I just hope its not another dance show.

I posted this on Twitter yesterday, I get the same sense about HHN that I got about Pleasure Island shortly after the turnstiles came down. Sure, it makes money--but it seems like such a hassle to The Powers That Be that I could see them ditching it anyway.

I certainly wouldn't be surprised.

I sure hope not, HHN is what got me to come back to the resort after years of Disney only.

How about a daytime Trick or Treat event and a nighttime alcohol free horror event at USF. And a Havest Fest. (Food and Booze fest) simultaneously at IOA.

Sort of split up the mayhem.

Honestly, I would think maybe doing the Osaka Method would be a good idea for Universal going forward.

Options for all ages, with an upcharge to experience mazes at a later time of the day, while keeping the park operational for the entire night.

Perhaps that's just me, but I think that'd be a good idea.

Meanwhile, what pop culture references do we think they may make?

This guy is getting a lot of media attention right now.

Considering the event has consistently been adding more and more days to the schedule the past few years, I find that incredibly hard to believe.

Just a few guesses off the top of my head:
- Wonder Woman
- James Comey
- Guardians of the Galaxy
- Beauty and the Beast
- Despacito
- Probably a light dose of Trump
- Hillary Clinton (in the woods?)
- Sean Spicer (in the bushes?)
- The Mooch
- Game of Thrones
- Get Out
- Avatar

Since this is the "Farewell Tour" they could almost do an entire show based on the biggest things in pop culture throughout the show's run leading up to now.

The future of HHN should be a different discussion thread...

Prior to announcing the Farewell, I thought for sure Fyre Festival would be a big story point. Now?

Dr. Evil (bringing him back could open a wealth of social commentary)
(Likely gay) Superman/Justice League
Spider-Man
Avatar
Harry Potter/Voldemort (winking to future replacement)
Maybe Fanboy Phil from 09
And please, for all things holy, the show has to end with Rufus.

That was the beginning of the end of PI. I wouldn't be surprised if this is also the first chapter in the story of how Universal killed HHN.

Bieber seems a lock. I expect usual riffs on superheroes, particularly Wonder Woman. Since the universe seems dead now, Tom Cruise's Mummy probably gets skewered hard. And there's no way they don't pay off 3 years of Avatar World jokes--Cameron and his sex tail have to show up. GMR/UoE closings probably come up as well.

Trump so radioactive right now (see "The Spirit" burning down WDWTragic before he leaves) I wonder if they might leave him out, go for an all happy, funny experience.
