Fast & Furious: Supercharged - General Discussion

Here ya go- I havent watched any of these- so not actually sure if they clap or cheer or say "thats it?". It was tough to find them though- I had to use this new invention called "google"- and typed "Reign of Kong POV 2017" into the field. Sure enough, stuff came up.

[4K] Skull Island: Reign of Kong POV Low Light Enhanced Version 3D ...
Skull Island Reign of Kong On Ride Low Light POV Universal Orlando ...
(4K) Skull Island: Reign of Kong 3D Filter No Ghosting Low Light ...
SKULL ISLAND REIGN OF KONG full on ride pov universals islands of ...
FULL RIDE POV Skull Island: Reign of Kong ride at Universal Studios ...

So we're up to 3 negative anecdotal comments that speak for everyone who has ridden it. Shall we make it 4?
Or, shall we look at it being the longest wait in either park- even though it has a ridiculously high capacity. Or... you know, the member surveys.

Me, my family, and others have also said "that's it" after riding it. It's an amazing ride but it lacks a certain umph, of anyone knows what I mean.

Edit: oh wait, JK didn't relaize the convo had ended.

The building is too big to just house a simulator ride with screens and it makes really pissed

Prepare to be dissapointed if that's your mindset.

Honestly, I am looking at this the way I am on DWTheater in Hollywood. Supercharged will be very similar to the Hollywood version, but expanded due to the size. It's also going to be a high capacity attraction that, once the USF Project (most likely at FFL) makes it's rounds, it will act as a really good buffer; similar to what was done for Diagon.

Although come to think about it, the USF Project could also be looked at as a buffer for SNW; especially if it is indeed Potter that is coming.

On the bright side, when this attraction closes in 20 years it's huge show building could be used for something amazing.

It's actually kind of incredible how quickly this building has went up.
We're running at over 1.5 years since Beetlejuice closed and demo began in Jan 2016 though, so not exactly lightning speed. And It's closer to 2 years if you go back to when Disaster closed before HHN in September 2015 (they disassembled the majority of the inside of the building well before Beetlejuice closed bc of closing it earlier).

When was the building topped out?
