Ok I have about 10 pages to catch up... but... am I crazy or is that dueling launch coaster... Star Trek? With Star Fleet above it and Chateau Picard dining to the left???
People in CA are really annoyed that it's not opening this fall. Given how extremely dead it's been the last 2 months, I'm thinking shareholders aren't going to like the numbers that come out of Q4.
By this time last year, nearly 1/4 the Halloween Party dates were sold out. As of now, not a...
Historically? Yes. Recently? No. Disneyland has revamped their food offerings considerably over the last 5 years. They are definitely above Seaworld and Three Broomsticks. Not fair for Knotts which is first a place that sells food (historically speaking).
Knott's> Disneyland > SeaWorld > Uni...
There won't be AP previews. Paid AP "early access" (the week before or so), yes. Been a DL AP for 20 years. They stopped doing AP previews when Cars Land hit. Didn't do one for Guardians or anything on Pixar Pier. But they did do a $100 upcharge preview night for Guardians. And a $200 upcharge...
There IS a Yondu appearance in Monsters After Dark, it's just not in the elevator portion of the attraction. While waiting in the main room of the Tivan Collection, security footage shows Yondu's ghost haunting areas of the Tivan compound.
There's a reason Iron Man uses the same ride system...
At least that will be the replacement for Disneyland. Not sure for you guys out there with the Uni contract and all.
I thought the AA was very impressive, my gf thought it was creepy as hell. I do think it's weird that they have no shot of the banshee vehicle (even if it was just extreme closeup teaser style).
Yes, I'm aware. I'm not a newb. That's the point. I checked attractions and waited a good deal of time before booking to ensure there were no surprises. Two weeks notice before a planned refurb for people paying thousands of dollars is a poor guest experience at best, unethical at worst. And...
I doubt it. If it was they wouldn't wait for such specific dates. It's a planned refurb that they didn't announce until after people's packages were already charged.
Oh I'm certain they don't. I wasn't trying to imply the customer service person was feeding me misinformation. Just that as a consumer I did my homework and wasn't simply an ignorant patron.
Sigh. No matter what I'm paying $500 or more to experience one ride. I can suck that up. I feel horrible for my gf tho as this has been her only wish for the past year.
My flights were $800. Changing your flight is $200 per person. Since the flight is so close, moving the date to even a week earlier or two weeks later creates an extra $200 difference in fares. So to change all together would make the total cost of my flights $1600.
And normally I'd be totally cool. But I did my part. I was very diligent about checking for closures. November 1st came and nothing posted. Even chatted with an employee before purchasing. I made an informed, researched decision. They withheld information on their end to avoid losing money...
