Can confirm this works decently well, though you might get some funny looks if you forget sunglasses that day.
Fun fact: the trope of pirates wearing eye patches originated from a similar struggle. Keeping one eye covered helped ease the transition from the brightly lit upper deck to the dimly...
Rode on Saturday (we don't ride it a lot so I forgot how much I enjoy it, even in this state). Can also confirm the box is back, but it didn't drop for us. Hopefully it's just getting some work done before it's back online.
As for a possible update, Velocicoaster has cemented my comfort with a...
The book cover is at the end of the curtained entry hall. Did you ever have a pop-up book as a kid that had the pull tabs that would make characters slide around the page? That’s basically the facade for Tooth Fairy.
My guess is that it will be our front “preview” scarezone between Shrek and DM, with arcade games set up to represent the event’s IP houses. Kind of like The Harvest last year, which had its own theme but still featured props from the 5 IP houses.
Haha I definitely don’t! Not now anyway. I think I was just referring to the collective reaction when this got announced and how he description read a lot like AoH last year. In this case I’m happy to be proven wrong!
In all fairness, for being the write-off “selfie zone” of the year I’m liking these nice touches. Certainly an improvement over the bare signs of last year, and it’s leads me to believe they listened to the criticisms of AoH last year.
I’ve noticed that sometimes music used as BGM one year belongs to a movie or franchise used as a house the following year (ie The Shining theme playing in Dead Mans Wharf in 2016 music from Silent Hill playing in Grown Evil in 2011). I know that it’s pure coincidence and that BGM has nothing to...
I broke down and nabbed the Funcard. I haven’t had a BG pass in a while, and as a local it’ll be nice to be able to go again. I won’t go often enough that the lack of parking will be a major deal.
I love they’re they using the same technique with a different idea: being blinded from the vaccine (also makes me think of NOES in HHN17 where you started the maze by getting dosed with medicine).
I wonder what made them use Paris as the location? Looking forward to seeing how they pull off the...
I have. If nothing else because I’m so excited to hear the actual music being used instead of the “knock off” music they’re used for other announcements in the past (looking at you, Exorcist and Halloween).
It’s funny you bring this up, because I’ve been literally imagining this idea since HHN28 ended. I think I got inspired by the 80’s vibe and John Carpenter music used in Hive and started to imagine a mega house with the movies you mentioned plus At The Mouth of Madness, Christine, and even Big...
I second everything here in regards to crowds. I’m a WDW frequenter and i did my first DLR visit this past March. The weekdays were great, but Friday night at the end of the week was extremely crowded. The walk from Main Street back to Tomorrowland that evening felt like waiting in a slow...
