IDK. But my guess it's infrastructure related to the show, since they took the walls down when they ran the Mardi Gras Parade later in the day over that street section.

They've had really bad luck with new attractions the past decade or two. Nearly every one, not just the two newer coasters, had continual break down issues. The old coasters are sooo reliable. They rarely ever break down. And two of them date to the 1920's......,,But,,,, The last two new ones...

Tomfoolery basically confirmed that here, a month or two ago, for those apx. dates.

From what I've seen so far, the new ride/scenes will fit into the former Splash scenes really well.

The pricing will be the key on these two hotels. If they're cheap enough they'll do OK. But if they're not, they might have trouble filling the rooms. All the other Universal medium and low priced resorts have more to offer. Endless isn't great looking, but it has lots of cheap suites for...

AK is the opposite of the old 'get there early' theme park maxim. It's crowded early, but if you stay after 4:00 PM the ride lines are the shortest of the day.

That must have been a one time traffic issue. We've used that bus often. Trip is always 5 or 6 minutes apx. And, unlike Disney, there's always a bus, or two, waiting at the hotel for boarding.

Such a great show, but such poor support from Universal daily operations. Loved the show, myself..................Interesting story. We had one of those large bay view balconies at Portofino. We're sitting on the balcony watching the occasional fireworks from Cinematic. All of a sudden we feel...
