Universal's Epic Universe General News & Discussion

Yeah, I don't think the Chronos is going to be the order of the announcements. But I think the order is what was revealed in the initial announcement video. (Celestial Park > Isle of Berk > Dark Universe > Ministry of Magic > SNW.) It makes a lot of sense as they're first covering the unique...

Tiana's Bayou Adventure (Opening Late 2024)

Music lines up to what I was expecting, and When We're Human in that particular section matches pretty well to some rumored story beats. By all accounts, TBA is not trying to be intimidating, so it's going to be pretty lighthearted and upbeat, so "Dig a Little Deeper" fits that just fine.

Halloween Horror Nights 33 (UOR) - Speculation & Rumors

For me, I loved Tooth Fairy in the anomaly that was 2020. But in 2021, it just didn't have the same bite, so to speak. Part of it could've been due to it was a literal repeat for me, another part is 2021 had a different cast and it wasn't like what I experienced the year before etc. (In...

Universal's Epic Universe General News & Discussion

As others have mentioned, I feel pretty good about the announcement being HTTYD. Definitely looking forward to that announcement, too!

    JOKER Folie à Deux

We'll have to wait and see if they actually showcase the musical aspect in the trailer or not. If they do, I'll honestly respect that.

    Horror Movies Thread

A thing to mention with A.I. which I think some folks are missing, and why theorizing it's being done for budget reasons holds no water... ...studios are still paying someone to input the words into the generator. Remember how Secret Invasion credited the people who "worked" on the opening...

    Knott's Scary Farm 2024

Very intriguing, they've done spiders in several variations before (Curse of the Spiderwoods, Curse of the Spider, Black Widow's Cavern), so I can see them leaning towards Phobias in some fashion. As for Imaginary Creatures, that one feels right up their alley as they can do "Good gone Bad"...

    Disney Cruise Line

Not to mention it doesn't help that Wish wasn't as well thought-out/designed in its layout as the previous fleets. I've kept hearing plenty of complaints from long time DCL cruisers over the layout, cramped pathways, too small pools (especially the adults only one), dead ends, lack of a...

    Alien: Romulus (2024)

The teaser looks pretty dang good, I'll agree it's giving me Alien: Isolation vibes which is great for me since I feel that's been the best piece of Alien media the franchise has had in a while. So I'm cautiously optimistic this one will deliver.

    D23 Expo 2024

While I can understand why'd they wanna' showcase things like that, I think it would fair better in the entertainment panel. Because I think when it comes to this Parks & Experiences panel, all eyes are on the Parks part of the panel and nothin' else. Anything else is just a distraction to them...

    Test Track 3.0

To be fair and frank, the reason why Test Track 3.0 is happening is the same reason why Test Track 2.0 happened, because Cheverolet wanted it and paid for it. It's one of the main attractions which still has a sponsor heavily invested with it as it's such a boon for them. Everything else around...

    Disney's Animal Kingdom (General Discussion)

Oh, I fully agree. I still do the trails and whatnot as they're quite nice, but even with those and the rides, AK is still very much a half day park for me. It really needs more of both.

    Disney's Animal Kingdom (General Discussion)

Yeah, that's still feels like a square one situation for me. While PW has been gone since 2020, a new attraction is simply finally replacing it, so the number of attractions still remains to what the park had in 2019/2020. It's not truly increasing the number of attractions, so it's not an...

    Disney's Hollywood Studios (General Discussion)

Unfortunately, I would expect more clones in the parks. Time and Money always come into play, and there's always a good chunk of both when it comes to the R&D of any new attraction. And with the way Disney has been hyping things, I don't think they have the time for the R&D of a bunch of new...

    Disney's Animal Kingdom (General Discussion)

Yeah, it looks like stuff is finally going to happen. Better pay respects to Dinosaur when one can. Though what I wanna' know is, are we getting actually additions to the park? Or is just going to be replacements which still leaves us at square one at the park with the least amount of attractions?

    Disney's Hollywood Studios (General Discussion)

This is such a weird Catch-22, since I would be delighted for any kind of expansion to replace the corpse of Animation Courtyard, and Zootopia would honestly fit the best in DHS. But the odd negative is the ride itself, because it clearly takes quite a bit of inspiration from MMRR which is in...

    What Games Are You Playing?

Finished up The Great Ace Attorney 2: Resolve. After thoroughly enjoying The Great Ace Attorney: Adventures, I quickly jumped onto the second game to see where it all goes. And this game took me on quite a ride, that's for damn sure! It was pretty evident that both games were thoroughly...

    D23 Expo 2024

Yeah, to echo other's comments, this upcoming Parks and Resorts panel is going to be a rather crucial one. Dare I say, probably one of the most important ones they've done. When you've got Iger and others talking big game about investing into the parks and whatnot, you have to put your money...

Halloween Horror Nights 33 (UOR) - Speculation & Rumors

Out of sheer curiosity, was that comment directed at you? As in its involving a scarezone you yourself didn't like? Or was it a general kind of statement? I'll admit if it actually involves a zone that generally wasn't liked, I'm quite intrigued since there's a good chunk of past zones which...

Halloween Horror Nights 33 (UOR) - Speculation & Rumors

Ah, here we go. Not gonna' dive into spec too much since it's just the first spec map and things are always subject to change, but I really appreciate HNNightmares went the route of all symbols since that conjures up more spec than just flat-out saying the property or theme. A great example is...
