    Howl-O-Scream 2021 (SeaWorld Orlando)

Honestly, the area that they’re designating for the main entrance to HOS would make a beautiful permanent entrance to the park with the waterfront and the coasters in the background. One can dream.

Jurassic World VelociCoaster - Reviews, Photos, & Media

Given that the general sentiment since Gringotts has been Intamin = Unworthy/bad, I think my comments are entirely warranted. Put it this way... anybody that has been outside of the Florida bubble to experience true Intamin masterpieces knows exactly what I'm talking about. Universal (to their...

Jurassic World VelociCoaster - Reviews, Photos, & Media

Benchmarking new rides against existing rides is how we review things. That’s how new restaurants get reviewed, it’s how hotels get reviewed, it’s how people formulate opinions. Guess you’ve never seen that giant banner hanging in front of mythos flaunting it’s best in the world awards? To...

Jurassic World VelociCoaster - Reviews, Photos, & Media

I knew 5 years ago that y’all would go cray cray over the Intamins but you’re flexing a little too hard with the rating scale thing. Is it a phenomenal ride? Absolutely. But if for anything else it should encourage *some of you* to step out of the Orlando bubble and experience other coasters...

Jurassic World VelociCoaster - Reviews, Photos, & Media

On LinkedIn the designer said that the raptor statues under the stall are paying homage to the dragons statues at the entrance to dueling dragons. Nice touch.

Eh this community really shouldn’t be talking, we definitely have our dorkus moments here lol

It has to do with where the restraint sits on your body. It’s the reason that most enthusiasts prefer the Intamin t bar over the u bar. One rests in your thigh while the other rests closer to your waistline.

Jurassic World VelociCoaster - General Discussion

The ride feels sneaky fast because the elements are tighter and the pacing is quicker. That’s what makes for a classic Intamin.

Jurassic World VelociCoaster - General Discussion

To the IU community calling out ‘thoosies’, this is the first major adult Intamin coaster in Florida so pardon me if people are comparing it to other coasters around the world. It’s an interesting topic, if UO really went with Intamin intensity here this is a game changer for central Florida...

Most of BGT’s coasters opened in June so I’m going with June

    Iron Gwazi (General Discussion)

They’re going to need to work their behinds off to try and get that public buzz back up again before opening it up. Maybe another social media event to announce grand opening followed by a teaser campaign for pass holders to figure out where the ride will soft. Hold softs on and off for a few...

Jurassic World VelociCoaster - Reviews, Photos, & Media

Is it considered AR when the raptor animations blend in with the viewing windows for launch 2?

Same, probably the best part about social distancing is the luxury of personal space. But a push towards normal society is really encouraging and I hope they continue to chip away at it and follow the science.

Jurassic World VelociCoaster - Reviews, Photos, & Media

I’m happy to see we’re moving away from the Covid era day by day and that major parks are getting back to normal. The queue looks great too.

Jurassic World VelociCoaster Construction Thread (Opening June 10)

This one has a slight hop in it that a traditional heart line roll does not. You’ll definitely get a notable float of air there. It’s designed in the same style as RMC’s inversions.

Oooof I hope that’s not accessible to guests! Bougainvillea is what you put in front of your windows when you don’t want the burglars to show up lol. Ouchie.

    Disneyland Resort

He’s the reason we’re even talking about this in the first place. Could learn a thing or two from how Florida handled it. Even places like Dollywood are handling ops well and that’s about as country as it gets. Time to open shop.
