I've been busy and kind of out of the loop, so I just recently saw the state of the lagoon scene and it is sad to see. This ride was one THE premier attractions when IoA opened and the condition it is in, is just pathetic. I love this ride (if my username didn't make that obvious), and I...
I like that idea. I went into One Man's Dream at DHS for the first time when I was there at the beginning of the month and loved it. Something like that would be cool. History of Universal movies and Parks would be cool to see and make for a nice area to take a breather.
Finally got to ride on my trip last week. It’s nothing extraordinary but I thought it was fun and the queue is really well done. People were laughing at the jokes in the pre show and on the ride (specifically the “ew” girl) so it definitely has its fans. GF thought it was fun too.
Overall, I’d...
Completely agree, Last rode it in 2016 when it was brand new and loved it, and it still holds up for me. We actually rode Fast and Furious first and I was afraid that would ruin that ride type for the GF but she still liked it.
Never ridden it without the outdoor portion, could definitely see...
Loved this so much. An absolute world class rollercoaster. The theming, story, ride, etc. was just great. Another one I wish we could've done more than once. My girlfriend preferred the Hulk, but this is the best coaster in the park IMO.
Finally got to check this out, and absolutely loved it. Wish we could've gotten more than one ride in on it. It exceeded my expectations. Absolute package, fun and well themed.
Edit: Sorry this should have been posted in the review thread.
I voted keep it JP when this poll was originally posted, but if my rides last week are any indication of how they plan to maintain this ride, I may be in favor of a Jurassic World overhaul... This thing is in ROUGH shape.
Rode twice. The Ultrasaur at the beginning (which I already think is a...
Didn't attempt any re-rides. She did like Kong on the other hand though, got two rides on it this trip. So it's definitely on the ride, not the ride system. Kong just has enough extras (and better storyline) to make it worth it.
Rode this last week for the first time... Yikes. Girlfriend who liked just about everything else thought the same. What a waste of valuable real estate.
Saw this on Saturday for the first time, very impressive. Set pieces were cool and can't hardly tell what's screen/what's real. I never had the chance to see T2, but thought this was great.
That dinosaur is one of the biggest glaring issues the ride has IMO. Even when it's "working" you see it in its static position, looking like it has a broken neck... then it starts and lifts its head up, still with an obvious crick in its neck, and then resets to static again wayyyyy too...
I say keep it JP, but give it an extensive refurb next winter with some plussing in areas. Though I am interested to see the additions made to JW in Hollywood once it reopens...
