If it’s real, would “Iron Alligator” not have suited the attraction more appropriately? Considering that seems to be the mascot animal of the attraction based on the logo. Plus, it rolls off the tongue more nicely hah.
Ah I see what you’re saying now. I’m not sure anybody was questioning the direction of the company in this topic specifically, I know I certainly wasn’t. As far as I’m concerned the fact they’re finally properly investing is a great thing and the direction the parks (not necessarily the company...
For me, It’s not really about the difference between what Disney and Universal are doing. The issue I had was, as usual, there was a lot of Disney fluff and promises but we never got any solid dates (to me the rough season isn’t hopeful). Not to mention there were major attractions that were...
Not posted here in awhile! Must admit, I was pretty underwhelmed by this years parks panel. I think I echo what many are saying in that there really wasn’t much revealed - even confirmation opening dates or years for major additions such as GotG: Cosmic Rewind and TRON. Did we even get a more...
Walked past the Disaster end of the site today to find the structure is exposed again with all of the brickwork stripped (remember there being a cover over it previously).
Trying to upload an image however it doesn't seem to be having it...
Sorry if it's already been discussed, but seeing as American Horror Story has quite a presence at HHN, do we think we could see the 'Maniacal Mystery Bus' make an appearance this year?
The bus is currently being used as a promotional tool for AHS: Cult and seems to be coming to a different...
Or maybe because they are recovering from a terrible incident?
As much as they can improve, Merlin is a vast improvement for the 3 parks than Tussauds. Toward the end Tussauds were giving us Rita and the terrible refurbished Bubbleworks. Merlin started with Saw and this year have given us Ghost...
A lot more has gone on since those images :)
The station roof has been completed, and the baggage/pre-show building has begun construction. You can see that here.
Something that does seem to be a bit concerning is that the turn half way through the course is almost flat and not very high...
I think some people are thinking about this all wrong when looking at Star Wars. I don't think this is going to be designed to 'out do' Star Wars, but rather to complement it. Once families are done with Star Wars they'll also have a brand new major Potter ride down the road for the extra days...
You do realise they're completely different experiences right?
To be completely honest the weather in the U.K. doesn't really care what time of year it is. I'm not sure the reason our large parks don't open year round is because of this, or more so because they can barely manage to keep the...
I think the idea that Universal could even be talking about a UK park shows that they're interested in some form. If the source that claims this is the case is correct, there must be some reason for them to even consider the idea. Disneyland Paris has recently been getting more interest because...
Ah thanks. I've managed to shuffle some things around now anyway in order to do a full day at Volcano Bay on a day where the park will be open in the evening. :)
Would anyone say that Volcano Bay is a 'must do' in the evening?
The hotel I am staying in for my vacation is fairly close to it so I wonder if it's worth while altering plans just to get to Volcano Bay in the evening?
