Halloween Horror Nights 2024 (USH) - Speculation & Rumors

When you capitalized Gorey, at first I thought you meant an Edward Gorey maze, and I got super excited. That would be amazing, someone needs to get on that!

Halloween Horror Nights 2024 (USH) - Speculation & Rumors

In terms of the Jabbawockeez, I think this board is not a great sample... we're more dedicated haunt fans. But I'd gamble that the vast majority of people who visit HHN are more casual fans, or just people looking for something fun to do on a night out. We all know these people... they're the...

    Six Flags Magic Mountain

Quick visit to the park today... Superman was open, and both Ninja and Tatsu were in 2-train ops at last. Roaring Rapids also open. Crazanity, Wonder Woman, and Drop of Down down. But biggest news: the far solar parking lot is now open to guests, and it has been repaved! It's a Six Flags...

This will be much appreciated, but part of me says they shouldn't start working on this until they get the reported new bathrooms back by Wonder Wonder (formerly behind The Flash Musak Express ride was). Without those, and if they close off the Steampunk area ones, there's no bathrooms between...

    Studio Tour

I did the preview tonight... and maybe it's not fully finished, but overall, I was mostly underwhelmed. The good: the new video clips are all great, and a very welcome update. Even the Jimmy Fallon clips are new, and he doesn't wear out his welcome by trying to be too clever. And I like all...

Has Jersey Devil had as much downtime? Or Railblazer (though I realize that's CF)? I don't keep track. If so, I suppose it would also explain why it'd down to one train.

    Las Vegas Attractions News/Updates

I’m actually in Vegas right now, haha. Didn’t hear that Adventuredome got an Endeavor! It’s a great ride. But as you sure you’re not talking about the Nebulaz? And yeah, they removed the Chaos maybe a 8-ish months ago. Also heard that Insanity at Strat is definitely gone. I believe it’s...

Anyone know why Wonder Woman has been down so much lately?

Not sure which train I was on... I'll pay more attention next time. :) Went to Scream Break yesterday. While a small event, it's fun and the scareactors are super enthusiastic. Also, the new Made to Thrill pins just got in stock! I already got the vintage logo one...

    Six Flags Magic Mountain

Was in the park today. A few updates: Roaring Rapids was open Wascal's now has self-service Kiosks. There are still people there taking orders as well... but if the kiosks have no line, you can just jump on them right away.. And they do accept discounts from Memberships or Season Passes! Jet...

    Studio Tour

I have never bought a popcorn bucket in my entire life... but I think the Tram one will force me to As far as the "get off the tram" part, back in the day when there was a tram stop, people were just allowed to stay in the stop point as long as they wanted, and just boarded another tram...

This Just In - Current USH Happenings

The majority of LAUSD Spring Break was last week, but today is also off for Cesar Chavez. They go back tomorrow. That said, many other districts do tend to take off the week AFTER Easter, so there could still be crowds. But at least it won't be the LAUSD students.

"Bastard! Bastard! Bassssstaaaarrddd!!!!" And that music on the tennis court... it's a pretty wild movie for a variety of reasons  It's also strange that the guy who played the groundskeeper was also Bluto in the movie Popeye (1980) just two years before.

I waited until it was Easter to watch Immaculate. Seemed to be an appropriate day to watch nuns get tortured and killed. It was a lot of fun (well, if you're into that sort of thing, haha), and great to be surrounded by an audience of fellow heretics

    Disneyland Resort

I had an AP for over 20 years, but gave it up maybe 10 years ago, and have been perfectly fine. I don't see myself getting another one until I hit retirement age.

    Six Flags Magic Mountain

I'm not sure if they're doing it again this year, but last year, some memberships (not sure about season passes) got a free upgrade to the 12 item card for the price of the 8 item card. If you have a higher level pass, it wouldn't hurt to ask.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Hollywood

Honestly, for a theme park serving, it seemed like a relatively large portion. For my money, the green apple flavor was really subtle. Maybe a bit too subtle for me. Kinda wish it had a bit more kick. But yeah, I am wondering about the other flavors. Smart move to have so many, it'll...

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Hollywood

It's soft serve... so think like Menchie's or Yougurtland. It just comes out of a machine, so there's nothing to see. But here's a pic I grabbed of the Granny Smith Apple flavor, as well as a souvenir cup.

I saw Late Night With the Devil. Must be doing well, as they expanded it to a larger theater, and it still got sold out. Liked it very much, but it may not be for everybody. It’s a slow burn for a majority of the time, then escalates rapidly (maybe too rapidly) and then has a somewhat esoteric...
