    My 2019 Grand Europe Trip

I'd say it's probably better to not go to the Merlin London attractions if you have limited time. London eye always seems to get insane queues before even going on it. Maybe do tower bridge experience instead as it's cheaper, quieter and you still I get some great views across London. If you...

    European Trip 2019 Planning

I'd say drive especially for Alton towers because it's in the middle of nowhere, no public transport available. Check opening times as UK parks are closed on certain weekdays. As a warning, parks may be busy due to school trips in june, even if you visit on a weekday.

    European Trip 2019 Planning

I'm from the UK so I can probably answer the majority of questions about uk parks. For Thorpe, the best order is colossus, saw, inferno, stealth, dbgt and swarm. For Alton, (wicker man if you have ert), smiler, 13, rita, galatica, nemesis and oblivion. Hope that helps.

    Justice League (2017/2021)

It feels like if you say anything negative, you immediately get told you are a marvel fanboy and are completely wrong. I'm glad the theme park community isn't like that.

    Wicker Man/SW8 (Alton Towers)

I think there is a lot more that meets the eye.

    UK Paramount Park

As a Brit, I've got 2 things to say. Firstly the weather is nowhere as bad as people make it out to be. Yes there is some rain and very occasional snow but UK theme parks could be open year long if they were indoor like Alton Towers' water park. Also, if people want Harry Potter, they will go to...

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind - General Discussion

I don't really mind about IPS coming to Epcot. As a younger person (under 20), the only parts of the park I actually care about are Test Track, Soarin and Frozen. I don't get whatsoever the huge fuss about IROE is. To me, it's a firework show with classical music and is by far WDW's worst show...

    Spider-Man: Homecoming

I guess it was alright but it felt like the film just wanted the 2 main characters to be really unlikeable. Also, the villain's plot wasn't done fantastically so it got a 7.5/10 for me

    Volcano Bay: General Discussion

It's not really very good that even after a month of operation, VC continues to mostly get 1 star reviews on trip advisor

    The State of Epcot

If I got to go Epcot, I will go for the proper rides. The average guest doesn't really care too much about learning at a theme park and would far prefer feeling g forces.

    Electric Ocean - Summer 2017

I mean it is a nice show with a great theme but it's far too short, lacks fireworks until the VERY ending and the rave section in the middle felt very random. I personally would much rather watch Happily Ever After over Electric Ocean.

    Wonder Woman (2017)

I've written my honest opinion of the film on another site and I've received a lot of hate because I didn't enjoy the movie. It's very sad that in the 21st century, you cannot have an opinion to the majority, without backlash.

    Wonder Woman (2017)

My review.. Wonder Woman - 6.5/10 In recent years, DC have received a bad reputation for their films such as Batman Vs Superman and Suicide Squad. Therefore, I was interested in seeing this movie, to finally experience my first DC film. Before the film, I wasn't honestly too excited, when I...

    TEA 2016 Theme Park Index

Merlin owns a lot. It owns 100+ midway attractions in 20+ countries and 4 continents (making 44% of the 2016 revenue). 40 new Midway attractions are opening between 2016 and 2020. There are 8 legoland parks in 6 countries and 3 continents (making 34% of 2016 revenue). The 6 resort theme parks...

Race Through NY Starring Jimmy Fallon

I'm from the UK so not yet but the ride is at the end of the day a 4d cinema. Whether it moves or not, it really doesn't matter.

Race Through NY Starring Jimmy Fallon

Universal needs to be taught technical terms for rides. A 4d cinema with Jimmy Fallon is not a flying theatre!

    Hi all

I guess this is a place for me to say hello, especially as I'm also from the UK. I love most theme parks and sometimes Universal if they don't constantly do 3d screen rides. I'll try my best not to be too annoying :)

    Happily Ever After

Wow, it is truly a fantastic show. The music was amazing and had different layers connecting different films. Only real negatives are that some sections didn't flow well from one bit to another and I was a bit annoyed with the villain section being so short. It should have either been there for...
