Can you do HHN as a solo guest

As in, is it fun? Also, if I were to do it, I would take the RIP tour. My bf wants to go but he won't be able to this year since he just found out he has to be on call most of Oct. I have done the VIP tour before (not as a solo) and enjoyed it tremendously.
