While an affect of the Delorean could be a show stopper, the only problem I foresee with a BTTF ride is I want to be inside the delorean, not watching it on a screen from a bus.

I still think that this ride system could work for this property, but I can already see those possible complaints. Making it a unique and active set piece though could still be cool.

And even if the ride ends up "just ok", I think transforming San Fran into Hill Valley will be a great improvement.

This can't be overstated. Even a "just ok" BACK TO THE FUTURE ride would be a huge upgrade for the current park line-up.

- Better, more legendary IP.
- Better usage of the screen tunnel concept than Supercharged (presumably).
- Better area theming.
- Better retail and food/beverage integration with the IP.

I share the desire others have expressed to raze this area to the ground and start fresh with a dark ride concept of some kind, but I just don't think that's reasonable to expect Universal would do while also tackling Simpsons (and hopefully even some other projects we don't know about yet) in the next five years.

I'll take an imperfect upgrade to at least start getting the ball rolling on correcting some of the missteps that have happened in USF over the last ten years.

Agree. It's the same exact problem they've had with Fast and Furious. Nobody wanted to be in a "party bus" looking at sports cars. They wanted to be IN the sports cars. That's why the entire ride system needs to be gutted. The only time this type of ride worked was when it was supposed to be a subway train for Earthquake/Disaster! The vehicle actually matched those storylines. Gut the system. Start over.

This would be an absolute net positive for the park, and a great step in the right direction for USF. If the UK coaster is out of the question, this is a solid way to bring BTTF back to the Orlando parks.

I'm thinking along the assumption that USF needs a good new D/E ticket attraction real soon. Adapting F&F is the only route after the RRR replacement opens. Otherwise, it's the next decade, which is too far away.

Yeah, if it's this or nothing, I'll happily take this. I just wonder if BTTF is the best fit (I still think Wicked here till they do a land would rock).

Anything....but F&F would rock, as long as they make a credible film like Kong is.
