I really hope it's not a cheap reskin. The problem with cheap reskins and USF is that they still tend to last 15-20 years, like Simpsons, Minion Mayhem, etc. So they should take their time on something that could really anchor USF's lineup.

If it's BTTF, I would grudgingly accept a re-use of the ride system and 360 tunnel. Its previous incarnation was a simulator, and assuming a new version was intelligently-implemented, I think it would be an unquestionable step up from Supercharged.

If it's not BTTF, it should be a completely new (to the space) ride concept. Ideally, a lavish dark ride of some kind.

Right and that's my issue. I don't want it to a cheap overlay because it's such a waste of a great IP. But then again, all Supercharged was was also a cheap overlay and a waste of the IP. Now they're finally giving F&F a ride system that kind of franchise always deserved. The one thing F&F and BTTF have in common is that both IPS deserved rides with ride vehicles that are fast cars. They've since course corrected finally to give F&F a fast car ride vehicle...but if they go back and give BTTF a ride with a slow moving bus I'm afraid they're just going to run into the same exact issue they had with Supercharged.

Actually Supercharged was a ground up build, which makes it worse.

3. It's USH first and ONLY outdoor coaster. As long as it's received well, it'll have long-lasting appeal.

So what is it guys? Do we not like the subject matter or the ride system because it and Kong seems to have the same premises as far as ride system and layout. I got my presumably last rides on it this weekend and I have to admit, it isn't THAT bad but I'm just not interested in the fast franchise. Same with Transformers and Spiderman. While they feature the same system and method, I prefer spiderman as I am not a transformers fan.

It's been mentioned before - but if this is a reskin with a few physical props/AAs, I think it could still be received well.

Replace the musion scene with a physical Delorean, Doc and Marty AAs - people will be happy.

I just want Hill Valley to be a thing at a Universal park permanently.

Fan Fest proved that the IP, and it's accompanying 50s theme, has remained popular. It's iconic, sells merch and they can get crazy with the F&B offerings.

100% agree, also look at one of the biggest complaints online so far for Fan fest besides people wanting new IP, the comments about why not bring back BTTF?

BTTF is in my top 5 films ever and was just surprised so many people felt the same way, like besides when it was opening or closing the BTTF attraction was always full of people and trying to see the dance show was hard unless you wanted to miss out on 30 mins of the event to wait for it or else getting a spot was hard. Also want to note that BTTF was so well received that they were apart of USH Hollywood event and now the Marty/Doc from what I hear aren't leaving the park anytime soon after the holiday season

So hopefully they find a way to bring BTTF to the states as an attraction

It’s a horrid ride system truly.

It’s the worst, hopefully a good opportunity to diversify the line up with one less screen heavy ride.

Honestly I wouldn’t hate this. I do think they can make an indoor coaster out of Twisters but I wouldn’t be upset. The ride system is not even a decade old so I could see it.

I will take Twisters any day over Wicked. It would also bring a “Legacy IP” back to USF!

Universal Great Movie Ride. Animatronic JAWS with Quint and sinking Orca, BTTF DeLorean with lightning strike and clock tower, 360 room with Universal Classic film montage.

Nah, complete demo and include those scenes plus E.T. bike over the moon, Jurassic Park T Rex escape, etc.

If they're keeping the ride system, the IP involved should be Godzilla. BTTF deserves something better than a Supercharged retheme, and I feel there's already enough of a Potter glut to where making it Knight Bus isn't needed.

Godzilla would fit this system justttt fineeeee.


Not my preferred outcome for that IP though, so the building should either be gutted or demo'd.

Is the tunnel still there on the Tram Tour in Hollywood? If so, I would guess they are trying to come up with something they can use the on both coasts. Whether that's BTTF or something else, I don't know, but if that is the case then it could be a fairly quick and easy change.

Knight Bus would be a terrible choice.

We've already got the Hogwarts Express for all our "sit in a passenger conveyance and look out the window" HP needs.
