Is this show getting good ratings?

It looks very intense, well acted and has a decent script...

I'm not sure about ratings, but this season is an improvement over last year. Keep that in mind if you start it. They really took the fan criticism and modeled it after other popular super hero series I.e. Flash/Arrow

Agreed, first season was good....but not great. This season though has stepped it up quite a bit, and fairly bit intense as well. I was kinda bummed about one villian being killed early but eh, it's kept its pace.

I need to start watching it again, saw just over half of the first season, was not bad really, though it lacked something.

The second season does seem better, but it's still way too cartoonish considering how dark it is (or way too dark considering how cartoonish it is.) It's just a very odd mix that makes it hard to take anything seriously.

I like the show. I think it was a wise choice to kind of keep a bit of a goofy atmosphere in some scenes. Makes the show less dreadful and painful to watch, though I do enjoy dark entertainment I understand it's not for everyone. Plus, Batman does have a history of being pretty goofy and tongue in cheek. Good to keep some of that spirit in there.
