Wristband distribution is very weird. We got into IOA earlier in the day using facial recognition and no need to whip out the AP. Hotel Express pass was validated using facial recognition and no need to whip out the room keys.

Wristband distribution however? 2 steps needed. Need to show and scan the daily ticket/AP at the first temp kiosk. No facial recognition available. Second station is the normal ticket entry tap point. It used FR and identified me and the fact that I had an HHN ticket assigned to my account.

Why can’t one station be used to validate both? Why not use FR everywhere? If it’s rolled out and I’m forced to opt into using it, it had better be used 100% of the time. I mentioned to a TM about this and they said that they need to scale up to processing 2000 guests for wristband distribution. That sounds like a you issue, Universal.

Well, HHN35 is over for us!

Final rankings

1. Ozzy
2. HR Bloodengutz
3. Cybergoria
4. Invasion
5. Hellraiser
6. Jack and Oddfellow
7. Sinners
8. Evil Dead Burn
9. Madlands
10. Stranger Things 5

A few random thoughts:

The 2PM house openings make a BIG difference, and I hope they continue it in the future.

The wristband process is also GREAT. It's so nice to be able to grab the wristband as soon as you arrive to the park.

Our 2nd HHN night - Sunday, 9/6 - was the busiest I have ever seen HHN. It was kind of insane lol

Finally, it's another great year - but I do think HHN34 was a bit better.

I think @Brian G. will only do one for HHN36 if Hellraiser 2 is confirmed as a house. ;)

there's a rock band playing a concert by the citywalk lagoon and they played Ozzy's crazy train and played the killer klowns theme song and they played the metal version of the Halloween theme, and it's one of the greatest things I've seen at universal.

that Halloween metal version on the city walk loud speakers was one of the greatest moments I've been at the park. oh my god .... killer klowns theme song live, really, Really amazing. :clown::love:

Universal has no excuse to not pay an artist to make a poster. They’ve got pleeenty of money. This is just lazy on them and reminds me a little of what Six Flags is doing for artwork on Knott’s and some other events

Okay, I guess I will be the guy to ask, how do we know it is AI?

What am I missing that clearly demonstrates that this wasn’t just made by a person?

It is definitely in the “house style” of AI, but there’s also the strong possibility it isn’t AI and just looks like dog crap!

Is this hinting a H.R Bloodengutz podcast episode?
I mean the poster looks bad. But I think this will be involved with Larry escaping and him accidentally summon The Pumpkin Lord.

It’s very possible they just bought a quick graphic off of digital asset marketplace.

I think it’s time for an 11th house and some form of additional entertainment.

The 2PM open helps dramatically, but boy is HHN running at near capacity. F&F should help next year, but there’s been a couple of nights this year with all houses posted over an hour.

That's good though. Universal needs a strong HHN more than ever this year.

This feels likely to me. Universal Hollywood bought digital assets off a marketplace for their Dead Exposure key art, which turned out to be AI-sourced.

Not a great look either way.
