About a year ago, someone around here mentioned Hasbro being in play.

Sounds like Dreamworks is in play more than Hasbro. Hasbro will be the controlling company after the merger.

Yeah, I remember talks of Iger looking to buy Hasbro, was around the time he purchased Lucasfilm if I remember right (about 2 years ago)
