Could someone help me find the flash files to 2007’s website? I tried to look at the page source from HNN but the links are all over the place.

I got the little videos they had on 2009’s website (will get around to the audio later) but the swf files themselves don’t work.

And the stuff I got from 2007: 2007:

EDIT: Also on the first page.

Seriously tho, it’s been months. Anyone found a easier way to access old websites? (there is the conifer option but it always crashes for me.)

6 months ago, I took some time to go through each individual site and save as much as I could. It's not flawless, but it's here: Link

I finally made it public since the website links seem to be hidden or removed from the HNN "past websites" page. The key is to go to "browse all" for the year you're looking for and make sure you're using Chrome version 76 with conifer's proxy tool. The top link on each respective year, is usually the most comprehensive for the material on that year's website.

Let me also reiterate the disclaimer that it will most likely give you the "your connection is not private" message. That's when you need to click "advanced" and click on the proceed link, over and over until it allows you to enter. It eventually will. After that, it takes hovering over the links for the images of them to show up.

Happy Haunting

@Ringwraith every time I try to access the websites through here it always says “at most 1 user(s) ahead of you.” It’s been doing this for a week now. Is this a Conifer problem?

EDIT: We’ll that or it shows an error page.

It does that for awhile and then it eventually works. I'll try it when I get home

I was able to access any page I tried to get to and it does say they're all public. Are you using Chrome v76 within Conifer?

I own a major video game forum and have also run into problems disabling Flash. There were a lot of videos posted on the forum that stopped working. But I was saved because all data, including old files without updates, are stored on hard drives combined in raid configurations. I tried to restore the old files myself, but I failed because the needed volume was not available. On the advice of a friend, I went to a recovery specialist, who could get me all the data that I had lost within an hour. If it were not for my habit of saving all the files, I would have lost a lot of information.

Update: It takes a while, but the websites that I have posted from Conifer, fully load. They did not the other day, but it must have been a glitch, because I went to the page, logged out, and it works.

So I have some time over the long weekend and I'd really love to try to stand up these old sites again and get them working, Flash included. Ruffle looks really promising and I'm a software engineer by trade so I'm comfortable wading through the instructions and getting it working. Does anyone have the files they'd be willing to send me? I tried PMing @NickC a while back but he hasn't been on the site in ~6 months. Would love to get these accessible again.

@Ringwraith or @pumpkinbot343 do you have the files that you could send? I see the links to HNN on page 1 but they all are 404ing.
