New Line is back at it again! This time--animated with Warner Bros. Animation; Lord of The Rings: The War of the Rohirrim, will be a prequel movie heading to theaters.

Animated by Sola Entertainment, the film will have it's script consulted by Philippa Boyens, as the film will be directed by Kenji Kamiyama, the director of Ghost in The Shell: Stand Alone Complex (And is the director of the upcoming Blade Runner: Black Lotus). The film has already begun vocal work; as the film is going to focus on the king of Rohirrim--Helm Hammerhand, in a story leading to that of the original Lord of The Rings. It is not determined if Peter Jackson and Fran Walsh being back; though it is a bit early.
