Michael (Biopic)

The long discussed Michael biopic is tearing through and breaking out. Directed by Antone Fuqua, the film stars Jafar Jackson playing Michael Jackson, and the film will be focusing on the rise to fame in the 1980's. Previous comments of the film potentially indicate that the film had to of had it's entire third act scrapped and redone to not depict Jordan Chandler (as they apparently did not get permission to cover that element).

The film seems to be around 3 hours at the very least, and is being co-produced and co-distributed by Universal Pictures + Lionsgate.

I just don't want this to become another Bohemian Rhapsody. The BTS articles and such paint a not-so-great picture. Apparently the film was originally supposed to prominently feature one or more of his trials concerning child SA, but they had to go back, cut those portions out, re-structure the film, and add in re-shoots. Supposedly they have enough footage for two films, hence why 'Michael' will follow him up to the release of 'Bad'. If it does well enough, they release the second part. This is what I've heard through the grapevine.
