Mako, Mako, Mako, I'm sick of Mako!!!! Not really.

A new Shark based attraction quietly opened. The Shark Touch Pool, and while it's location is a little strange (in between the entrance and exit to Wild Artic) it's a cool and educational experience.

While leaving Aquatica San Antonio last week , I got asked asked to do a survey with a rep that was more than just a teenager with a clipboard. The park is lush with plants, shaded areas and themed up very well, they have fun slides. Here they have a family raft slide that ends with a float thru a glass tube under their well done Sting Ray area. Their lazy river goes thru an aviary with all kinds of colorful birds that you can walk thru as well. They even have attendants that will give you food and feed for free in the a aviary. It also has an abundance of areas for little ones. It was separated from the main park this year so it is it's own gate. I told them they need the latest, greatest watercoaster. Preferably a tower wit two different ones offering two distinctly different experiences and a tower with the aqua loops like Orlando, and a wave River lime the local place in New Braunfels has. I also told them since it was so animal heavy, they needed a faux reef to snorkle lime the shark swim at Typhoon lagoon. That shark thing would really, really fit in there. Those three things would make a hell of a water park.

No wonder I couldn't find it. I was looking for it in Shark Wreck Reef today.
