The newest original feature from Pixar.

Release date is March 6th, 2020. It stars Chris Pratt, Tom Holland, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Octavia Spencer.

Plot: Disney-Pixar's Onward. Set in a "suburban fantasy world," the animated adventure introduces teenage elf brothers "who embark on an extraordinary quest to discover if there is still a little magic left out there."

I'd be thrilled to be wrong, but the character design/aesthetic here skews a little too Dreamworks for me.

At least Holland’s character doesn’t remind me of his Spider-Man voice. That would be too weird for me.

I have slightly higher hopes for this movie after seeing how good TS4 turned out to be. Remember the terrible, terrible teaser trailer that Pixar gave us for TS4? Hopefully that ends up being the case here too. Just a bad teaser.

Just watched the movie on Disney+. A fairly weak effort by Pixar standards, imo. The first half drags, but does manage to pick up in the second half.

It does have the typical deeper meanings and emotional moments you would expect from a Pixar outing, but this movie is unfortunately far closer to The Good Dinosaur than to a top-tier Pixar movie.
