The building is outdated Seaworld doesn’t want to pay for a new one. The emperor’s will be sent to Orlando and are rumored to be removed next month the rest will stay till November they will be distributed around the Seaworld parks. A temperate outdoor penguin exhibit similar to the one at the San Diego zoo will be likely taking its place.

Is there a reliable source for this? Because I haven't heard anything else about this at all, and you'd think Sea World removing the penguin exhibit would be relatively big news for the park

Permits have been filed for the shark encounter renovation with the California coastal commission

Actually crazy they have to get approval with the CCC for these types of projects.
