Seuss Trolley

I remember that for many years the Seuss Trolley did not operate. Did it run when IOA first opened? What happened to it, why was it down for so many years and what did they do to finally get it running. I have tried looking this up with no success and have always wondered.

No, "sylvester mcmonkey mcbean very unusual driving machines" never opened with IOA.

It was originally going to be an interactive bumper car style ride where guests could control the speed Thant there car went at. It never opened due to technical reasons.

Then finally after a while they completely re did the ride system and opened it as the trolley ride in 2006.

Thanks for the info. It was depressing to see a ride like that above Seuss Landing just sit and waste away all those years.

The Company building it went Bankrupt.I think the delay was Universal was afraid to spend money to finish with someone else and have a lien put on it (for what the bankrupt construction company owed).
So They waited out the statute of limitations before finishing.
