With the buzz coming out from Into The Spider-Verse, Sony is moving ahead with more in the animated multi-verse, but the big news is that they are going to be developing a Spin-off, based around Spider-Women.

Lauren Montgomery (Voltron, DCAU) is in negotiations to direct the female-led film, as those involved with Into The Spider-Verse in producing should be coming back on. The film, is slated to bring the female Spider-Man incarnations to one singular adventure, as Bek Smith (Zoo) is writing the script.

No release date has been given for the animated spin-off.
