Universal Studios Hollywood is beginning to rollout and transition payment methods at Universal Studios Hollywood. Mummy Eats, and Studio Cafe, are the first dining venues to be getting transitioned and converted to be operating with mobile or card payments only.

From the tealaves, USH is undergoing a process to convert all Universal Operated Dining/Shopping, to be running on cashless systems. It is not clear what it will mean for third party operators and vendors at CityWalk.

Stuff goes full circle. Before Kennywood park went to a park entrance fee sometime in the 70's, the park was cashless. You had to buy
ride and refreshment paper tickets at an exchange booth in the park. Up until two years ago, cash was used for all food and beverage
transactions in the park. Two years ago Kennywood went back to a cashless policy whereby you had to use a credit/debit card, or
purchase a card at an exchange booth in the park. ....What's old is new again.
