It has been officially shown the first trailer for the upcoming film; "The Magnificent Seven".

The film is being directed by Antoine Fuqua with Denziel Washington, Chris Pratt, Ethan Hawke, Vincent D'Onofrio, Hailey Bennet and more as the film releases in September.

Thoughts on the film? You excited for the reboot of the classic western?

Looks like a ton of fun and it's got a great cast, I'm in.

Never saw the original, though I did see the movie on which it was based: Seven Samurai, by Akita Kurosowa. I think couple of westerns might have actually been influenced by Japanese Samurai films.

I'm old enough that I saw the first one as a kid, multiple times, in the theater. Always loved that movie. They made two sequels, but they were really poor. Tough to beat that original cast though. A lot of iconic actors.

Exactly. I saw film that also. Yes, you are absolutely correct. M7 was based in the Japanese film.
