All I can say; until the get more technical on the cast/crew, is a simple 'Huh'; and I wonder if this won't be for small kids.

I never saw the comedic "Thundercats ROAR" (was it ever even released?) but the first two iterations were firmly in the Y-7 age bracket with GI Joe and He-Man. The Cartoon Network revival arguably even skewed a little older.

The revival did a lot to show the potential this IP has, fleshing out characters and finding more drama between them. Far better than I expected it to be. I still maintain that had the episode with the "flower elves" who have 24-hour lifespans been an original Star Trek episode instead, it would still be heralded as a sci fi classic.
