Transformers: The Last Knight (Summer 2017)

It has been officially unveiled of the title of the upcoming Transformers 5 as it will be titled; "Transformers: The Last Knight". This seems to be the last of the Transformers films that is to be directed by Michael Bay, director to the previous four films.

The Production will begin in June, with Mark Walberg, Isabella Moner and as Peter Cullen returns to play Optimus Prime once more. The film releases on June 23, 2017 (....i'm not sure how to feel about that).

Thoughts on what may be the final rendition of Transformers by Michael Bay? Do you think that the film title is crappy to? Sound off below.

I just have hope that the writing team doesn't get screwed over by Michael Bay (to be honest, when has that not happened before with the past two TF films). From what it seems though, Isabellas character seems to be going in..somewhat a better direction for Female characters (and lets be real here, name one actress in TF that didn't try to give off a sex appeal to the older male demographic?).

The last one was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. I liked the first 3. The second one gets bashed a lot but I didn't even dislike it. But the last one, yikes. I'll see this, but they need to cut the run time in half. No reason for these movies to be almost 3 hours

Weren't the third and fourth movies also supposed to originally be the last ones directed by Bay, only to later bring him back on board? I'm not convinced he's done after this.

It would have to be a slow movie season before I'd see this and with Guardians 2, Pirates 5, Wonder Woman, Mummy, Cars 3, Despicable Me 3, Spiderman and War of the Planet of the Apes all coming out around the same time, I'm sure others might feel the same.

TF 3 & 4 have both made $1.1Bn+ Worldwide and every film in the franchise has made $700M+ WW. I doubt anything is different this time around. They love Transformers overseas.

Either that or Megan Fox possibly. Since she seems to have patched things up with Bay. Seems like they are trying to go back to the roots of the original 3 to wipe out the stink of the last one. Not even Mark Wahlberg could save that atrocity

I'd have to think that it'll relate to the reveal of the main villain of The Last Knight, along with a CGI trailer showcasing the villain and Optimus.

My biggest issue with 3 was them just dropping the mythology they created. Sam was the living allspark after the second movie? And they just let that go? The new girlfriend? So boring, so very very boring.
