Universal has merged its brand development group with its parks and resorts merchandise divison.

This has nothing to do with attractions and isn't like Disney's merging of the two divisons. Instead this is a merger of two divisions UNDER the Universal Parks & Resorts banner. Don't think we'll have to worry about what Disney's going through now.

Probably for financial reasons. One was underperforming, so combine the two and cut redundant positions. m
