Odd choice to make the townsfolk weird and standoff-ish. One of the strengths of the original STRANGERS is that it feels like this horrific thing is actually happening to real people in a real place, but now we're in a very "movie" setting with this new one.

I saw this film at a test screening and thought it was pretty good. Sad it isn't getting a theatrical release but I get it. Probably would've flopped lol

Yeah I was worried it got scrapped so I'm glad it's being released. I saw it in the summer of 2022 so it's been awhile

Honestly might've been 2½ hours? It's been awhile so I don't really remember. I just remember the film was basically finished from what I saw so I was surprised they took so long to release it
