It is still at fright fest I have no idea where people are getting conjuring from. That sounds like an Orlando echo chamber thing. But hey it’s only March. The map was bound to have some stuff incorrect yknow

The Conjuring rumors have been going around for a while now in a number of places, even if they haven't been as strong as other rumored properties. While difficult to secure, if they wanted something similar to Insidious after its success, it would serve as a great follow-up.

I would say the fact that The Conjuring was at Fright Fest last year does not necessarily mean that it cannot be at HHN this year (though the answer would be dictated in part by the specifics of the Six Flags/WB contract, which I assume none of us have seen). Yeah, I agree with this. I don't think we would get Conjuring on top of everything else that is rumored right now. As this is only the V1 Spec Map, things will likely change in the coming months. Conjuring is hardly a lock, but I wouldn't say it's an impossibility. It really hinges on what Fright Fest is doing.

In the last 3 years, A Quiet Place, Chucky, and Legends Collide were the first IPs to be announced. I wouldn't consider any of those to be the most popular IP of their respective year.

Someone I trust, who was correct about every house and SZ last year, is very sure FNAF, Scream, Fallout and Terrifier are coming. They’ve been hearing Scream since November. They’re also confident in Scarecrow and POLTERGEIST, which surprised me but checks out. They also stated that we’re getting “some WWE related house” and that a Latin American original is coming but they don’t know much about it, not that that’s new info.

Lastly, apparently Killer Klowns will return as either the tram or a SZ.

Other than Poltergeist honestly the biggest surprise to me is that WWE is still happening in some form. The hype around Wyatt Sicks just completely died here and seemingly in the WWE fandom as well, but they didn’t specify who it would be based on and just said it was “something WWE”. I wonder if it will be mostly the same from what we were talking about a few months ago or if plans have shifted at all.

REALLY pumped about Scarecrow and Klowns. 2022 was my first HHN and I didn’t have any game plan or expectations, so I missed both of those. Really hope the new Scarecrow can recapture that magic, and I honestly hope Klowns in the tram and not a zone since I feel like it would work pretty well.

Personally want to see more Hollywood NON-IP SZs of the past become houses (possibly Tram too). It's a unique gimmick that somehow works for our event.

I was watching the woman in the yard movie and I was like “this would be a neat blumhouse section” and then the twist happened and I was like “yeah no they’re not touching that with a 20 foot pole” I really hated the movie I almost walked out the theater

I can’t believe we would get scarecrow again… that would be so wack. If that’s the lineup then they must be spending a lot of money on the costumes and sets. ( we can hope).

I wonder if, with the event spending more money on headliner IPs and other items, doing Scarecrow again would be a way to save some money (especially given that they are bringing Scarecrow to Vegas, so one order for both events), and still deliver a house that everyone really likes (seems to me that Hollywood's Scarecrow 2.0 would be much more popular than, for example, Holidayz in Hell 2.0).
