This news sucks. Maybe they can consider doing a projection show like what we briefly saw at the SNW grand opening:

While it sucks, we know how much it takes to program/test that kind of thing. Since we haven't seen anything late at night in the sky, I'm not surprised it got dropped.

I'm more curious about their BTTF effect plans.

I'm getting that feeling again for this event where we might need to lower our expectations. A LOT. Especially with the minimal half-assed marketing. It's giving "not everything was fully thought out" vibes

It gives me vibes of when they introduced an additional VR haunt to HHN. It was one of the worst events I’ve ever been to haha Very not thought out and pricey.

We have tickets to this May 16th while we are in town for the 70th at DL. Starting to get a little nervous about this event. Seems we are losing offerings and still some of these offerings arent explained well enough. We paid a lot for our express tickets so hopefully its worth it. Do you think express will work for meeting yoshi?

I'm not sure about that. From the looks of things, it'll be just like any other character meet-&-greet: get in line to meet the character for free.

I would assume the express pass will allow you to skip the line for all open rides, the walk-through experiences (Dungeons and Dragons/Star Trek), the anime Dreamworks Theater thing, and the tram to the Back to the Future area. I do not expect it to cover meet and greets, which I think may become a bit of a mess (let’s hope they have a real plan there).

While it is USJ merch, maybe we'll see similar at USH for this event.

My coworker gave this to me yesterday. It's a OnePiece acrylic coaster

From @HydraGen2299--construction has now been well underway for the One Piece Fanzone. It also seems like One Piece is going to be the Upper Lot Bar.

Didn't they say that Lemmale + H&D were getting the Star Trek overlays?

I'm still baffled that they wouldn't have just thrown Wicked into Lemmale & keep H&D "Oz" themed.

Man, I wish HHN would put this much effort into their scarezones. This is already looking good!

They do... just only in French St. We haven't had fully themed SZs since the entrance was redone & we lost Baker St.

To be fair, it's just a few poles & some posters on a wall. It's nothing extravagant. They did the same for the recent Toyz SZ

Nitpick: i wish the backdrop was bigger to block the greenery. Triggered by bad photo-op camera handling

Also I don't know why, but that also looks awkwardly small.

I wish the photo op was a little higher up so I could pretend to be hanging off of it.

As of this moment, I am planning to go in May towards the end once they get all the kinks out of the way. And that's if -- and only IF -- reviews are good.

Why do these photo-op prop spots look like they're done as small as possible?

I'm assuming Universal has developed technology to increase crowd capacity by shrinking guests as they enter the park.

Also seen that employee preview for this event is a closed event as well. No guests allowed. (No plus ones )
